Short film about the life of Bay Area sportswriting legend Nick Peters and his as a writer, columnist, and editor with the San Francisco Chronicle, Berkeley Gazette and Oakland Tribune over the span of six decades.

In the film, Peters tells the story of the emergence of professional sports in the Bay Area with the early years of Pacific Coast League (PCL) baseball, the early years of the NFL San Francisco 49ers at Kezar Stadium, up to the arival of Major League Baseball with the San Francisco Giants moving to the West Coast in 1957.

The documentary concludes with Nick Peters' induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame as a celebrated baseball writers in 2009.
