dougharrismedia.com recently completed production of the short video presentation for the newly formed Richmond nonprofit organization Transforming Young People Everyday (TYPE).
The organization was founded by Shooty Babitt and Kayson Ching to provide academic and social guidance to aspiring youth, using sports as a tool to engage participants. Babitt is a former Major League Baseball player for the Oakland Athletics, and currectly works for the team as an advanced scout, and is also a popular television analyst for NBC Sports Bay Area. Ching is a longtime healthcare professional (dietitian and nutrition coach), and serves as TYPE's executive director.
The video was produced at TYPE's recent Richmond Youth Baseball Clinic at Nichol Park that provided fundamental instruction in hitting, baserunning, throwing, fielding, and also featured a special guest appearance by Oakland A's Shortstop Marcus Simeon.
